We were lucky enough to get a sneak peak of this brand new cabin in the Wisp resort a stones throw from Deep Creek lake.
Nestled in the heart of nature, the cabin offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. The interior is beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches that make it feel like a home away from home. There is fantastic outdoor space with firepits, a fireplace, AND a hot tub, for relaxing after a day on the lake or skiing. There is a game room in the basement with air hockey, ping pong, and pool, as well as a collection of board games and cards.
The owners have considered all of their guests needs with abundant towels and toiletries, as well as every amenity you could hope for in the kitchen.
The location is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's secluded enough to offer complete tranquility, yet close enough to charming towns and outdoor activities for when you're ready to explore. Whether you're into hiking, fishing, skiing, or simply enjoying nature, this cabin is a fantastic base for your adventures.
I can't recommend this cabin enough, and I can't wait to return!

The Black Diamond house was the perfect stay for our family. The kid bunk room was perfect for all of the kids while all of the grown ups had their own rooms without the awkward and uncomfortable pullout couches that many listings try and sell. The house was very clean and had so many small details that were helpful and thoughtful.

This house is GORGEOUS!! My family and I had such a great time. The owner of the home, Brian, was fabulous. He was easy to get a hold of and took care of our needs. I would stay here again just because of Brian!

We recently had the pleasure of being among the first to preview Carefree Wisper, and we were pleasantly surprised by the meticulous attention to detail that the owner has infused into this home.
From the thoughtful amenities like air purifiers and Roku TVs to the cozy sitting areas, wireless speakers, K-pods, raw cane sugar packs, and creamers, it was the little touches that really stood out. The space is thoughtfully divided, with each level featuring its own unique theme, blending rustic cabin charm with a modern flair.
During our 4-day stay, we found ourselves spending a lot of time just enjoying the house. We did venture out to hike at Swallow Falls State Park and Blackwater Falls State Park, but the comfort of Carefree Whisper made it tempting to stay in. Despite visiting in the first week of August, the house remained pleasantly cool, thanks to the fresh air from the open windows.
Overall, Carefree Wisper offers a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, making it a wonderful retreat for any getaway.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Carefree Wisper in early August as invited previewers, and we were thoroughly impressed. The home exudes a welcoming and serene vibe, with its clean and open design.
One of our favorite features was the hot tub, which was impeccably clean and nestled in a sunken area beneath the covered porch. This setup created a wonderfully cozy atmosphere for relaxation. We also loved the solar lights that line the wrap-around porch—they provide a warm, gentle glow that enhances the home's ambiance without being overly bright.
Overall, Carefree Wisper truly felt like a peaceful retreat, perfectly blending comfort and tranquility
